Bill - thanks for the compliments. It seems that everyday I have a new book to reference and a new idea to write about so the encouragement definitely helps me keep on task. lol As far as other blogs, I am CONSTANTLY looking for valuable material and I don't really follow any blogs regularly. However I do signup for mailing lists all the time for 2 reasons.
1. To learn from someone with specialized knowledge about a certain topic for free. :-)
2. To learn about how they market their own books, ideas, information, etc.

Right now I'm subscribed to Marketing/Business email lists belonging to Perry Marshall, Jim Edwards, Yanik Silver, Drew Miles, and David Gass. I'd say Perry Marshall probably has the best material out of those.

James - I've basically replaced my notebook with my Blackberry Notes and Task list. lol And as you suggested I've picked up "Work the System" in paperback since its not available on the Kindle :-(. We'll have to discuss it once I get a chance to read it. :-)

Brian...
Well written as usual...I agree that we must leverage technology to provide us the "Freedom" that we all are working for..I recently finished reading Sam Carpenters book "Work the System"..he uses 3 devices to keep his life efficient and streamlines...the first one is a digital voice recorder that he keeps with him at ALL times to capture any passing thoughts, goals, ideas as they race in and out of his head during a days time...he then set aside a few minutes at the beginning of his day to scribe what is recorded to his outlook task or where necessary...This way he explains it allows him the freedom to capture each idea and then allow him the freedom to move on with his day..A great system that keeps him mobile and efficient. I know you have told me that you always carry a small notepad to do this type of thing..I am sure your blackberry has a recorder on it..anyway keep the good stuff rolling out..Hope your having a great week..

I need to get me a Amazon Kindle!

I just recently found your blog - great writing and I agree with many of your philosophies and ideas. I particularly enjoy your frequent references to many books that have been written and your post on the top books you've read. Are there any blogs that you recommend? I'm always looking for more information.
Keep up the good work and continued success on your ventures.
